WDM Elks Lodge Donate to First Tee of Central Iowa
WDM Elks Lodge #2752 donated $2,000 to First Tee of Central Iowa. First Tee is a national organization that teaches golf and life skills to young and mostly disadvantaged adults. Two weeks of the summer First Tee teaches these young adults about life and good choices through golf. We don’t cheat, we don’t lie and we take responsibility for the bad decisions of the last shot. In Central Iowa, First Tee serves more than 12,000 kids and teens at 8 different golf facilities, 21 elementary schools, 7 youth centers and a Girls Golf Program. First Tee provides the clubs, equipment and the trained coaches for these sessions. Charles Schwab Challenge will match half of our donation this year to make it $3,000 effectively.

Our Goal
Elks Lodges bring so much more to their communities than just a building, golf course or pool. They are places where neighbors come together, families share meals, and children grow up.
Elks invest in their communities through programs that help children, Veterans and community needs.
